Walcott, Iowa — The 2025 Walcott Truckers Jamboree pulled more than 46,000 trucking fans onto the Iowa 80 Truck Stop grounds this weekend, even though early rainstorms forced a brief postponement of some activities.

The three‑day jamboree has become a pilgrimage for drivers, owner‑operators and fleet managers who crave a mix of camaraderie, gear swaps and the chance to see the latest rigs. The event’s reputation for showcasing the best of North American trucking culture draws participants from every corner of the industry, reinforcing Iowa 80’s status as the nation’s largest truck stop and a hub for on‑the‑road professionals.

Organizers highlighted the Super Trucks Beauty Contest as the marquee competition, fielding more than 120 entries that spanned vintage restorations, custom‑painted haulers and purpose‑built themed trucks. Judges awarded top honors in categories such as “Best Classic Restoration,” “Most Innovative Build,” and “Best Themed Presentation,” with winners hailing from both independent owner‑operators and major carriers. The contest’s prize pool exceeded $15,000, and each winning truck will be featured in a photo spread on the Walcott Jamboree website later this month.
